Soccer Cards That Never Were

What might have been? What if Topps went above and beyond their 1979 NASL stickers and made "Footballers" in the USA? What if Upper Deck assembled 1998 and 2001-2003 sets? What if a US company made World Cup cards in other years besides 1994? There was a really cool Sportkings Jersey card of Freddy Adu and Pele that came out this year. I believe only nine exist (check out the photo). If I remember correct, there was a post on the http://www.bigsoccer.com/ forum that fantasized about a similar card a few years back. After much research, I have decided to list a few of the cards that could have been. To be eligible the card must have had a chance to be produced. I would really love some help with this list, here's what I have so far:
1993 Upper Deck World Cup Preview Diego Maradona (before the failed drug test)
1991 Collegiate Collection North Carolina Anson Dorrance (legendary coach)
1991 Collegiate Collection North Carolina Kristine Lilly

Where will Cletus end up?

Recently released from Ergotelis FC of the Greece Super League, Clint Mathis is now a man without a team. Will he make another move back to the MLS? The soccer world awaits.
This card is from his Mathis' spell at Hannover '96 in the Bundesliga, he played there during the 2004/05 season.
